Fifth meeting

For the fifth meeting my partner and I met with some friends at the cafeteria. We had a coffee and talked about what we had done over the week and week end.
We talked for a while about words taken from English in the French language and vice versa and their use in the language in cuisine for example but we also talked about the different accents in English and French and how this can become an obstacle to understanding someone.
We went back to the CFAL to be in a more quiet space and be able to record ourselves for the tutor.
We also talked about our favorite places in France, South Africa and other countries we have visited.
We carried on talking about what we had planned to do during the week end but also about the upcoming exams and how we felt about it.
